Coach Mason played college basketball at Minnesota State-Mankato University where he was named to four All-American teams and helped his team to the Final Four in his Senior year. He was also inducted in the MN State Hall of Fame in 2022. Mason played professionally in Germany, Romania, Turkey, and Luxembourg. Coach Mason was also drafted in the NBA G-League by the Dallas Mavericks in 2012.
After finishing his collegiate and professional playing career, Jefferson became the director of the Minnesota Lynx and Minnesota Timberwolves Youth Basketball Academy. In addition, Jefferson has worked as an NBA skills trainer, working with several NBA players. He’s trained players at every level for the last 13 years and has directed camps/clinics around the country. Coach Mason is the global lead trainer for Dr. Dish Basketball.
