Today Dr. Dish Basketball announced a renewed two-year commitment with the International Basketball Federation (FIBA). The partnership gives FIBA endorsement to Dr. Dish’s approved shooting machines and highlights the shared commitment between the two organizations to helping basketball players around the world improve their skills, as well as the drive for innovation, safety, and excellence.
The two organizations originally partnered in late 2020 with the goal of educating coaches, trainers, parents, and the basketball community on how to integrate the latest training technology, tools, and drills into their federations, clubs, camps, practices, and individual training sessions.
“From the professional ranks all the way down to the youth level, Dr. Dish looks forward to building on our success as a leader and innovator in basketball training equipment and content to make an impact in the lives of players and coaches all around the world.” said Doug Campbell, President and CEO of Dr. Dish Basketball.
“In 2020, FIBA Equipment & Venue Centre launched the Training Product approval category to spotlight technology and equipment in the basketball training field, understanding that the work that goes into honing players' skills is what makes FIBA's competitions so exciting. FIBA proudly endorses Dr. Dish's training technology. We are delighted to extend our partnership with them,
further strengthening our commitment to developing basketball training together with all basketball stakeholders, especially our National Federations.” said Bart Prinssen, FIBA's Head of Equipment & Venue Centre.
